I just had a meeting with my boss and was shocked by the revelation that hit me after. In my marriage I got so used to H never giving much of an opinion or helping me work things out, that I just took care of things the best I could. Never really discussed it with H after I took care of it either. I was trained so well that it has carried over into my work life!!

I need to change this! I know when I started working here I kept thinking why are they( meaning my boss and his wife) asking each other that...just do it! I see that with most people I am going to have to change the way I think about that and communicate. Nothing wrong with being independent as long as the other person knows what you are doing!
