With the way the world is and the difficulties involved in living, I understand how one can question God's existence. However that is where faith comes in. You seem to take responsibility for your part. Forgive yourself for imperfections, we all have them. Trust he will give you what you need. Ask, seek, and knock on his door through prayer and reading the Good Book. He will show you the way, but you have to trust. It is not always easy but it will not be more difficult than what you are going through now.
