And the kiss was snuck in under the video of the war face!

I saw that, but he said the Las Vegas remark just kind of off the cuff. Like he really didn't notice that they were topless. Like come on! He is a guy after all. smile

Umm...yeah...90% sure I have a date for Friday. Well, basically I am 100% sure I have an invitation and 90% sure I am going. blush

Why do I panic when it is time to "close" on the date? It is street bike guy. I looked through his profile. He is well built grin (hello biceps!), five years younger than me, and told me that my pics were pretty and I looked younger than 34. And yet the flattery almost makes me more suspicious of him.

I am such a geek! Oh and he actually suggested a dinner place in the Old Market part of Omaha, that I actually like! Nice place for steak, one of those places where two people can't leave without paying $100 and that is before you order any wine/drinks. What is wrong with this picture? It's just dinner...

BobbiJo...

It's just dinner. At worst, you have a nice dinner and walk away. Hopefully, some nice conversation. If not, it's not a disaster. Really.

Ah, me, too.
And, I've been meaning to ask:

Lola - The Rockette ???

Ah! I know this one! There's a story!

Once upon a time there was a fairly large group of wonderful women who seemed to enjoy posting on a Wandering Poster's thread. They spent quite a few afternoons drinking virtual drinks, having virtual food, and being very real friends. One of the ladies often called the Wandering Poster "Handsome", and one day the moderator changed the Poster's name from dry_heat to Virtually_Handsome, and suggested that the the regular posters on his thread were the "Rockettes". So, Lola, MichelleLT, BobbiJo, Mishka, OneDay, JCJ, and more that I have surely left out became the Rockettes! I believe that they are the best friends I have ever had.

Those were the days!

Ah yes....there are upsides and downsides to posting less...

I was just thinking yesterday I should have gotten fired 2 years ago! I was a long term sub March-June of 2008 and I think I spent 40% of the school day reading and posting on DB! eek

Hmmm...spendy dinner for first meetup? I dont ever suggest this for new ladies I meet. I prefer to meet for a cup of coffee at Starbucks. It just seems more casual and the escape can be much easier.
