Hmmm....wonder who that lucky gal could be? wink

Yeah, now that I am free to date whomever I want, I have become quite picky! But standards are a good thing!

Buffet....skip work to golf? Sounds like fun to me!

So, took the kids to Hu Hot tonight for my mom's day supper. Got their smores which I'd never done before. Pretty cool, they bring out a tiny firepit thing and put it on the table and you skewer and roast your own marshmallows right there! Kids loved it! Said it fed two but we had leftovers even with 3 of us.

Dan texted me at 11:30, "Happy Mom's Day". He'd already come by with the fountain yesterday so I hadn't expected that. I'm not his mom after all! I saw it an hour later and replied back to thank him.

Then I went this afternoon to weigh and measure and left phone in the car. Got in at 6:20 to find a msg from Dan sent at 5:00 "What are you guys up to?"

I replied back that we were on our way out to eat, he replies back "Never mind then, have fun". And a bit later, "Was going to see if you guys wanted to do baseball practice but go ahead and have a good time."

And we did. smile

Oh and motorcycle guy (profile name SemperFi) emailed me. Said hard to believe I was 34 from looking at my pics. Smart guy! smile Then said he'd like to get to know me better and asked me why I was divorced. He is 29 and never been married, no kids.

Ok time to sleep so I can get up for boot camp! Want to lose inches AND pounds next week! My big mistake this week was eating before bed, supposed to stop eating 2 hours before bed. So I guess the doritos at 11:30 last night were a mistake? laugh

Hmmm.......spent the day with R at speech coach conference, lots of fun. He was telling me on the way out about a movie he wants to see, we may go see it sometime.

Got home and email from street bike guy. Wants to know when I am free so he can ask me out to dinner....hmmm........

However my patience level is less than zero at this point. Who knew I was so freakin' high drive? Guess it doesn't count as high drive if you've been in a TWO YEAR dry spell!!!!! mad cry wink A rainy stormy day and nobody to kiss...what a waste!

Oh and I ran into college friend/band guy at the grocery store after the conference. He invited me to come watch him play, again. He and his GF are getting serious, which is good for him. Plus I won't feel as weird going to watch him play bc I don't have to worry that he'll expect anything (he's nice but NOT my type)...

Well to quote an old favorite Heart song - you just need to find yourself "A lonely boy in the rain" wink
