You are going through a very painful time. Even knowing that D is almost inevitable in my case, it know that dealing with what you`re dealing with would be so much worse.

I`ll be honest, I`m worried about you. Nothing you do will take the pain away, but there are things you can do to prevent a downward spiral. There have been some LBWs who have gone to the darkest places in their journey and I don`t want to see that happen to you.

Please talk to your doctor about what you are going through...many have chosen to start or increase or change medications at the worst points of their crises, just to cope.

I don`t remember if you`re in IC, but make it a priority to go weekly and if you don`t feel better after a session, try someone else.

Call a crisis line when it feels like the pain is too much. There are people who can be there for you no matter what is going on.

Distract yourself as much as possible. Try to have a stack of funny or distracting DVDs on hand for when you just need to escape -- it did that a lot when I was feeling shattered.

Have a friend or family call you at least once a day for a check-in. Gather support around you.

Seek out soothing experiences. Maybe going to the community centre sauna or hot tub, going to a botanical garden, things that feel good or cheer you up.

Constantly work at stopping painful thoughts.

This is so hard, but remember that you can make choices about how much suffering you go through right now. You can get through this.
