What a day...and it isn't even noon! As I went to bed last night I realized that letting my kids stay w/my mom and dad meant nobody would be waking me up with a half-bowl of cereal or burnt toast this morning...but then again I did get to sleep without sharing the covers with two kids!
Picked up the kids, realized I forgot to pack different shoes for Nathan so he wore dress pants and flip-flops to church! We pull up and he starts crying he is hungry, literally crying. Nevermind my mom gave him a full breakfast...so I drag a crying boy into the church basement and find him some animal crackers in the Sunday school room.
After church is over I go to pick the kids up from children's church (they have it during the sermon so we can actually pay attention!) and Sydney has spilled her "flower in a cup" that the kids made for mother's day. Broken stems and potting soil all over the carpet! Poor girl...poor carpet! We got it cleaned up though. Oh and then she punched me bc I didn't have any snack to give her for the 3 minute ride home...kids!!!!
But I am so glad I have them!
Heading out to my mom's for lunch. I specifically invited her to dinner/supper and told her I have to weigh in and get measured at boot camp at 4:00. So I told her I wanted to go out after that. Well, I pick the kids up and say, see you tonight? She says, "I already put a roast in and you are coming back after church to eat with the kids." Like she never even heard a word I said??? Sigh...............oh well...
Just weighed and measured for boot camp....weight stayed the same, but down 2 1/2 inches! Yay me! 1 inch off my hips...those summer pants will soon be mine!
Think we will go to Hu Hot for Mom's Day supper. Boot camp coach says as long and you don't put oil on it, it's pretty healthy with all the veggies.
Eat some protein before you go if you're light headed. Don't want to pass out on your walk!

Nope, no date last night. Although I did have a date with Quicken and unfortunately, I large sampling of my kids' Doritos... Lucky I wasn't up in weight today!
Have had several winks, emails, "interests" on Match this week, but no real head-turners. I know that sounds bad....but I am not looking for a brother or a father, I want a fun, energtic guy who gives me a little "spark" when I see him. We'll see......
I am not on the alt, a big problem in the marriage to XW so I kinda resent it i guess(??) or maybe i just like to be the only person not on the thing!! My work crackery with e-mail tied to it is enough "in contact" for me!
Cards won big today to break their losing streak!!
I am actually going to your neck of the woods week after next, I hope the weather is better this time through than the last couple
