So Dan texted earlier to see if he could borrow the kids for an hour or so. We were at the ball field practicing, just the kids and I. He came and pitched to Nathan (I don't pitch I let him hit off the tee bc I can't pitch! ) then took the kids. Showed up 90 minutes later with a suprise.
Kids (via Dan) got me a gorgeous fountain for my backyard. Ex knows that I love my yard, loved the one in K.C. too bc it had so many pretty flowers. Three or four years ago he and kids got me a gazing ball. This time a fountain. Apparently it was his idea to get a fountain but he let them pick it out.
I was intimidated to install it bc I didn't know how they worked but it was easy, took 5 minutes. Now it is gurgling and looks so beautiful! Good surprise...oh and a bird feed scoop bc I have been using an old peanut butter jar to fill my feeders.
Time to finish mowing what I can before tonight's events. A surprise 60th birthday party for my dad's friend and my uncle's best friend, my uncle flew in from N. Mexico last night to surprise him...then kids are staying with my parents and I have the night free! What to do with it...
