Instead of taking it as a criticism (which I KNOW I would do) maybe we can both work on the fact that they are such idiots that they spend their time looking for things to be critical of in us....

in a nutshell (I hope you just skipped down to here) he is spending his time worrying about how you live your life...remember than when he is being critical...and if the worst he can come up with is that you think he is a tool and that his son's bank account is the same as when he left then you MUST be doing some stuff right?
