For some reason his post to Opt's thread depressed me, I need to try to figure out why.

Maybe the part about why is it worth the pain? I am not sure will have to read it again to see if I can identify for me what trigged the bad feelings

I think that there is a good possibility you are empathizing too much with Opts thread...when you do that you are FEELING like his remarks are directed specifically at you. Remember it is OPT's thread and David's post is geared just toward OPT...it has nothing to do with you personally :-) Read David's posts for incite into the man but don't ASSume that they are a negative reflection of your own R with him
