Have been enjoying beautiful sunny days and time with friends. Had another productive session with IC yesterday (will post notes tomorrow).
H still has not been back to collect, pack, or move any of his things. Based on his schedule, I expected him to come yesterday morning and this morning, and I had left a note on the door for him both days. Both days, the note was still on the door when I got home.
IC said that I have been doing the right thing (since H and I last discussed his packing and moving) by not asking questions, issuing a deadline, or pushing him in any way. I referred to it as opening the cage door or dropping the rope. She took it further and said I'm removing myself from possible blame. If I don't try to keep H from leaving, keep him from getting his things, force him to get his things, ask him questions about when he's getting his things, tell him a deadline for getting his things, or try to reason with him about anything, then he can't blame me. Aha! Another important revelation!
It's possible that he'll come on Friday morning to pack or get some things. I don't believe that he would come over the weekend since I'll be here (except when I'm out doing many interesting and entertaining things).
