Sounds like the concert was fun! Glad you guys can both be mature enough to have fun with the kids and be there for them. That's definitely something worth striving for.

I went South. Sorry it was kind of a last minute decision BobbiJo, but I also knew it was Sydney's birthday so I didn't want to bother you. Ok, well I also got a speeding ticket. My first in about 12 years and I deserved it. I am not all that upset because I know I do speed most of the time. I was a very good girl on the way home.
Took D11 to the haunted house in Iowa. There was a murder there back in 1912. A couple things happened but I don't think I captured any ghosts on the camera. Wish I had a tape recorder...maybe next time. Anyway a nice day even though I drove 6 hours of it!

Glad you guys had a good time! No worries, there will be another time! I wouldn't go to that place, anyway, I don't like haunted/paranormal stuff. Creeps me out way too much. But glad you liked it!
I meant I went North!! I know there was a point I thought about going the other way but didn't. Silly me.
A couple of things happened but nothing earth shattering. When we first got there everything was fine. When we moved into the living room, I got a really heavy feeling in my chest, like a pressure. Later, I asked for the "ghost" to move something in the room other than the crystal we had been using. My camera definitely moved and it had been stationary!
Yes, fun but strange being there with strangers.

What a difference a month makes! Nothing really going on right now. K's D18 had prom Friday night and her Mom was in town part of the week before that. Not much fun for him anyway. They took some great pictures of about 28 kids on his deck and the girls on the stairway of his house.
So I refuse to get into limbo and am trying to keep busy while he contends with his ex and all the turnoil that brings. I have had to remind myself all weekend...sometimes it isn't about me at all.

Well as part of continuing to stay busy, I got together with J last night. Had a really good talk and he helped me figure out somethings I wasn't sure about. My problem of course is that I still think too much!
He said he thought that right now reality has crept back into K's life and he has things to do. I am right not to take it personally. I need to use this time to see what I want to do. I of course want to see what this is/could be. There is the distance thing that might cause the biggest issue but since I now have a reliable car, I can meet half way and go there too and not have him have to come to me all of the time.
It's a hectic month with graduations for both of us and then they are also going on vacation. I have a lot to keep me busy.
