My DIL's mare just had a foal last Sat. out of my stallion and he is a gorgeous colt. Much potential on those four legs. lol

I've put the anniversary thing to bed. I'm not doing anything. What's the point? It doesn't mean what it once did.

When it was my H's bday right after bomb, I just emailed, 'Happy Birthday'. When it was mine, H did the same.

I really think you are doing the right thing by not acknowledging your anniversary. I like someone's suggestion, do something for yourself. Go get a massage! Those are great & relaxing!!! Be good to yourself that day.

Thanks NLT. Yes, I'll get through it by remembering the blessings that came my way because of that day. I have four beautiful children, 2SS, and a nephew we raised. I live in a beautiful old house that needs work (don't we all)that sits on 59 acres and a barnful of horses. There is only one thing missing from this picture, but that is out of my hands. The Big Guy upstairs has control of that for me.

I am grateful for all that I have and can't help but feel sorry for all that my H is missing out on.

Happy anniversary. I hope you had a nice day. On Valentine's Day i bought myself a dozen yellow roses. It made me happy. You are so blessed to own horses, and have so many children. Hope you are doing okay. It seems to be the blessed families that the enemy comes after, but we can defeat him.

I hope you are having a good day in spite of it all! I bought myself some candy for Valentine's day! I would have loved to have had some red roses, that is what my ex used to buy me. Oh well, in the past. Do something nice for you!!!

It's pouring down rain here & supposed to be stormy later on today, they have already had tornado's in Memphis & that usually heads my way. So, it's a pretty gloomy day, I hope it's a sunshiny day for you where you are!

SA just stopping to say hi, hope that you are doing OK and you survived the Anniversary day. You are so lucky to be living on an acreage with horses. Horses are the best...have one myself. I hope that you ride often it's very therapeutic. I just cuddle with mine lol.
