I'm not going to ask her a damn thing. My concern is that either of those actions would be ignored at best, or make her so uncomfortable that she'd disappear completely at worst. Nope- I'm only going to "speak when spoken to" (unless absolutely necessary), and when I do respond to her, it will be with the utmost courtesy and respect that I have always shown her, and with love in my heart. She's the one who will have to deal with the aftermath of her own feelings about it.
