They had Thanksgiving dinner in April, delicious. H didn't arrive until everyone was working on dessert. Was upset that we didn't answer the house phone. DUH - we weren't there, we were on TIME (H is always late and DSS15 is very upset b/c he's a stickler for time - totally happy when we arrived 5 min before dinner and I said "that's b/c I was driving, I'm never late")

I re-screened a great film from 1988 a few weeks ago called Clean and Sober. It was a great film then and even better now that I have lived a lot more.

It's a deep exploration into Addiction in general. The addiction of the main character is drugs, but the film explores addiction, not drug addiction, it could be applied to infidelity quite easily. They show the aggression, the rudeness, the inconsiderate behaviuor, the one-sided reasoning and singular focus, as well as the terrible amount of exploitation that results...

There was a line in there when the main character was late meeting a fella helping him out. Daryl apologized for being late, Richard just said "You're an addict, addicts are always late..." and moved on...

Great film, I highly recommend it for anyone with a straying partner. You will learn very quickly not to put up with an addicts crap.

It sounds like you are getting yourself and your marriage under control Pass... always great to read your posts. smile
