I aquired the nickname "d-day" long ago, from bowling, a bunch of vets were bolwing against our league and every time my ball would contact the pins (when could throw that hard) they all said is sounded like bombs on the beach during D-day. And so it stuck.

The 101798 part, simply the wedding day and anything 10/17 related still holds the significance to (x)W and I.
