Too Late For Us?

Hello everyone and thank you for checking in on me.

Believe it or not, we are still married.

Here's the story . . .

Wife visited me the night before. We had an somewhat emotional good bye (no tears). I didn't know this at the time, but after she left my apartment she went for a walk. She was having second thoughts and wanted to think. There is a tiny church nearby. She said she sat on the church steps and asked God so send her a sign. She wasn't struck by lightning and so decided to go home and proceed with the divorce in the morning.

The next morning, about a half hour before she was supposed to leave, she was suddenly doubled over in pain. She called me and then cancelled the hearing. l took her to see her OBGYN. After an ultrasound, the doctor determined that she had an ovarian cyst that had burst.

I don't know if anything will change . . . maybe we be divorced next week . . . maybe not.
