Hi Gardener,

Thank you - you are quite right. In a way he has helped me as I now feel more detached then ever. This I guess, was the last straw.

As for worse behaviour, well I have experienced some of that with him before. (nothing too violent, just a slap here or there). However, this incident has made me feel so humiliated!!!

I guess on reflection, I never should have tolerated his 'slapping' before, but always forgave him - I thought that is what a good wife did.

He texted me yesterday am to chat and I told him I didnt want to . He then texted back and asked why I wouldnt talk to him - he really does understand consequences to behavour.
