it kills me that i've always stuck by him no matter what, even now, when he has totally berated me and taken so much from me. yet, he can call and talk to his mother, same mother he hadn't spoken to in almost 3 years because she was badmouthing him and went psycho on me and he'll call the other friend who used to work for him and basically left him to fall flat on his face.
But not me..

This is exactly how I felt. H actually said to me one time "why would I leave you when you have put up w/ all of this and me all this time?" But then he changed his mind again the next day. He went back & forth numerous times in the months he was insisting on D.
I got the book "Why Men Love Bitches" today. I'll let you all know how it is. I'm going to pass it around the office when I'm done

I think that's the way to go anyway - don't necessarily answer every time he calls. Let him wonder if HE IS LOSING YOU and he'll back pedal I bet!
