Well, well, well....seeing a few names here and there and makes me smile....not due to your circumstances but remembering the times when everyone was dying for help!

Let me tell ya...after over three years now being divorced from a 16 year marriage and knowing how dumb it was to get married at an early age...I laugh when I read about the help needed by the newly weds and married couples under 5 years.

Needless to say....after all this time, things are VERY good...at least with my kids and girlfriend of 3+ years now. My kids are doing very well and my S18 is about to graduate. He is understanding of everything that has happened. He was not a "child" when his Mom decided to drop the big "D" on us. I didn't have to tell him everything was her fault or my fault. He had first hand experience. My D16 on the other hand, well, she is the one having to listen and read the crap from her Mom.

Thank god my D16 will be of age next August. This will be the end of having to deal with the EX....she is a royal pain. I will post later on that matter but let me tell the single parents that have to deal with the ex....never agree to squat. Always take your time because nothing will happen over night. Don't let that cow of butthead walk all over you or intimidate you. Get all the free help that you can before you make your next step.

Anyway....I will post more later.

Having a great night with F21 and Trip!!!

Cheers and happy weekend!!!

Many hugs to you, old friend. I will never forget your voice of reason early in my sitch when I was convincing myself that everything was my fault, and that the "friend" could only be a friend smile

I also had a REALLY hard time believing you that things would ever be ok for me - and now here I am, and they are!

Have you guys decided which side of the border you were going to be in?

Hey FA!!! Give a big hello to Trip from me! Sounds like life is good, as it should be!

Hi Fa (& also Trip): Been wondering how things are going and glad to hear a nice update. Time seems to heal all wounds and wound all heels. Same goes on here.

My daughter told me last week that in the 6 weeks since she'd last seen her dad - looked like he'd aged 10 years! He is a mess. Never even asked her about her trip to Florida or Easter. She asked him if he'd done anything for Easter - nope! She told him of our fun w/e at the cottage. Seems like we got the better part of his leaving - LOL!

Bet it is the same for you and your crazy ex. These people have concern for only one person - themselves! To heck with their exes and the children they messed up. Thank God we can provide our kids with the parenting they're missing on the other side.
