He texted me 45 minutes ago that Sydney could not take it much longer away from me. Well, duh, the parenting class said 2 consecutive nights was plenty for a girl her age and this is night #4!! So I think I will get them back early tomorrow vs tomorrow night...
In other news............
I just spent the evening with the most DELICOUS man ever...... He is from Longview, TX and sounds like he belongs on the cast of Friday Night Lights. Wow am I a sucker for a sexy accent......did I mention he had good teeth? And nice eyes? We had dinner together....
Um, yeah, cause he was the bartender!
So I took myself to TX Roadhouse up in Papillion (Omaha Suburb) and I chose to sit at the bar. My Cardinals were inexplicably in the 14th scoreless inning, but that game was not being shown!?!
Anyway 2 ladies and Mark were working the bar. I had one of the female servers but I noticed Mark bc he was so cute and he saw me noticing... Anyway he came over and talked to me several times. Seems he is the regional manager, moved up here for 3 months from Austin, TX to train some people. Then he goes to St. Joseph, MO for another 3 months to train people.
Having spent time in Texas and lived outside St. Joseph for 3 years we had a few things to chat about. He said something about being tired of being at work, I asked when he got off and he said he was already off @ 8 (it was 8:40) but stuck around cause he had nothing else to do, didn't know anyone, usually just went home to his apartment and hung out, etc etc. He was complaining that he was not allowed to 'fraternize' with employees which left his evenings pretty empty.
Think I could find ways to fill those evenings...
He stuck around and I finally left at 9:10........I so wanted to stay and chat but I had been done eating for 30 minutes so it was kind of ridiculous. Wow I love cute eye candy!
No, I thought about putting it on my receipt, but there were 3 people all working the bar and I didn't know which one would pick it up! He noticed my name bc he said it belonged more in TX and asked where I was from... I am so kicking myself that I didn't find a way to get it to him!
Maybe next Weds when I don't have the kids again I will stop back by and just have a beer or three? If he is there again and we talk I will probably go for it. Worst case scenario he thinks I am a stalker and I just avoid the place for 3 months till he's gone!
However by the looks of him he is probably only 27ish....still, I would take that!
I'm right there with mindfull! Go back there pronto! Get your number to him. Heck, call the restaurant, leave him a message saying you wanted to ask him a question about a drink and to call you back. BINGO! He has your number! Sneaky, sneaky.....
