Year 3: The Long and Winding Road

In 2007, we had a driveway torn out and STBXW asked that I build her two retaining walls for a flower garden. I worked up at 5 a.m. for six weeks building it to her specifications.

Then she didn't plant anything in 2007 or 2008. I spent hours pulling weeds from it and wondering what she was going to do.

Finally in 2009, after I left she planted a row of flowers. Now, D11 tells me she spent a whole weekend putting stuff in.

Like others have said, if you suggest it then it's not worth doing.
