I understand fully not wanting to get hammered drunk and then go home to a possibly tense/high drama situation...

But I would suggest taking your sweet time getting home. Even if you just spend an hour with your friends, you could go browse through a bookstore, go shopping and get some new clothes for spring, etc etc. Take yourself out to dinner....

I just wouldn't rush home to see what may or may not be waiting for you...............

Hammered drunk...if it's good enough for Cal Naughton Jr. It's good enough for me.

haha, yeah. . .I think it's probably a good suggestion though to be a little careful. Like I said, considering my mental state lately, it might not take much. So, I'll probably hang out with them for a bit and then maybe make a couple other stops. I was needing to pick up some stuff to work on my car this weekend anyway.

Well, I don't like saying or thinking that I "won" this battle or whatever but, she sent me a text about 30 minutes ago asking politely to make sure one of our dogs eats because he hasn't been lately and to pay extra special attention to the cats. IDK, maybe she took a flight to meet this guy. . .who knows, who cares. I assume she's gone.

you know what,
let her take care of whatever she needs to take care of,
if she has time to ask you to do something,
she has time to do it herself and if she can't be bothered to do it, don't expect to be the fallback guy for her to do the things she doesn't want to do.

"I'm out tonight, won't be back til who knows when so this will have to wait, thx"

And that's it, if she replies, let it go unanswered, remember if it was important enough for her to mention, she should have taken care of it herself, she's been treating you like $hit lately and she has alot of never asking you for favors on top of that - she doesn't get to have it both ways and it's time she understood that but it won't be with your words, it will be with your actions, words without actions are just words and everyone knows they don't do much.

Well, stopped by to change out of my work clothes and big shock, no "surprise" waiting for me here. I kinda knew all along that she was just talking big.

Missed all the action on this one so far...

CG.. good job on cutting off the Internet.

Next tasks:

1) If you can, cancel her cellphone. You don't pay for that anymore.
2) Disconnect the land line at home

IF you haven't thrown her out the house i.e. kicked her to the curb (which I HIGHLY recommend) and she reconnects the Internet... disable her computer... I won't get specific suffice to say when a computer isn't working it doesn't matter if the internet is.

Oh, and I hope you have a blast tonight!

thanks, just heading out the door now.
Just to catch you up, don't pay for her cellphone in any way and we don't bother with a land line since we both just use our cells.

And yeah, she's gone to her "BFF"'s house, which of course is right up the street, for the weekend.

Man, that is FANTASTIC news! You had better be throwing an impromptu party tomorrow. Invite everyone you meet tonight to come on over. Better yet do it on Sunday...

And have her bags packed and ready for her when she gets back.
