Mindfull, I want you to know I feel the same way about money from WH-I have no desire to take him for all he's got-as long as S will be taken care of, I don't need his stinkin' guilt money or lavish guilt gifts-I have my own income! (when I return to work lol)

He likes the status quo. He likes the appearance of the happy family. He likes being able to look like the perfect dad and husband. I have a feeling he is into his image. What would his friends and family say if they ever found out what's going on? He can't have that, so he wants to bribe you to keep things just as they are. And he sure doesn't like the idea of having to give you your half. Really it isn't giving you your half, because it already is yours, as much as his. But you can bet he doesn't see it that way.

Last year I got some hanging baskets of flowers, then for my birthday he bought me a tree. Just this Christmas I got new ceramic tile flooring in my basement......
At least if worse comes to worse you can sell the boat, what am I gonna do, uproot the tree and put it on ebay?

All 3 kids are playing tournament ball this weekend - in three different suburban cities. A minimum of 12 games.....I won't get to see them all
Di, you're a sick woman. I love it! LOL I don't start until a 2:15pm game. S10 is the keeper, and he will have five games this weekend. It is stressful being a KEEPER MOM! The poor defenders get yelled at a lot for not protecting my son!

Aver!!! Where ya been? You always make me smile! HUG! Explanation - we live on a nice river. The family is pretty sporty so we have a wake tower boat, and wave runners. I can drive the wake tower boat, but it would not be in great shape if I was the one to take it off of, and pull it onto the lift! So, H works out of town during the week, and we don't get to do much boating when he's gone. SO, I've always wanted a fun, inexpensive pontooon (party barge) to take up and down the river w/girlfriends and moms... just to be fun. That's what he bought, or says he bought...
CW - No, he doesn't want the pontoon - See explanation above... not a bad guess, though!
Flo - The hair survived. Couldn't wear contacts though, so frumpy hair and glasses make for a bad PMA day. I survived, though.
M - Will do. Hey, at least I have seven loads of laundry to do. It can't be all bad?
T - LOL! Guess a trade is off the table!

BBJ - It worked! LOL Actually, I checked Craigslist for values!
Jeff - That is mostly true. I guess he is believing his own LiesLiesLies Yea... Time to move on. Monday is the day of serious financial homework time. I need to get it pulled together to move forward, and this week was swamped w/work, and just letting this sink in. Maybe just a little self love.
Fergie - I've never been on a cruise. Maybe I'll book my own going away party. Need another month to be bikini ready, though. HUGS - Glad you had a blast.
