Quote from the two cheerleaders attached at the hip on Glee to the guy they asked on a date (together!):

You knew the deal when we asked you out. You pay for dinner, we let you watch us make out...oh and could you just go wait in the car? But leave your credit card...

Now how is that for being direct? grin

I say this bc that dang John (love ya John!) went and got me thinkin', and I don't like having to do that! blush

My knee-jerk reaction when he asked on his own thread why women are so concerned about something looking like a booty call when it's not is that we don't want to look like sluts. But then, I am thinking, in whose eyes? As long as we know what we are, should that matter?

But then my next thought was, I want to make it clear it is not a booty call because I want it to MEAN something if I mess around with a guy...

But here's the weird part...

As soon as I said that to myself, my brain piped in--"Ummm....no you don't. You are just ready for some action after a 2 yr hiatus!"

So my head called bullsh!t on me... shocked

I guess when it comes to finding THE one, down the road, I love the idea of taking things slow, having those sweet romantic "baby steps" as you work your way toward falling in love...

But at the same time I am not ready for the next ONE in my life yet. I want to be able to laugh, flirt, kiss, tease, and have fun and not feel like I am locked into the next Mr. BBJ....so I suppose I want more than a booty call but less than a serious relationship...

So.....isn't that called dating? smile
