It didn't sound like it was that she "agreed" with him. She detached and took care of her own needs and knew she would be fine without him.

Detached doesn't have to be a feeling. Detached can be done by action and logic. Feelings have nothing to do with it. That is why so many have probelms with detachment. They keep looking for a feeling. Feelings come and go. Use discipline and logic. It works better.
