OK- I really don't know why I'm posting this...I guess I just want to memorialize it for any newbies that come afterward reading my thread to see just how F'ed up MLC really is.

About a week or so ago, I got an email from my XW. She didn't say anything- it was only a blank email containing a forwarded email message from my uncle and aunt, who were writing to let people know that they were moving to Seattle. No message attached saying, "This got sent to me, but it's for you", or anything like that.....just blank.
Could have just been a courtesy to forward it on...she could have just wanted to make sure that I knew about it...
Except that the header of the original message she was forwarding had my brother's email address as a recipient, too.
She must have known I would hear about it from him....so why bother to forward it? I'd find out the news eventually anyway.
Whatever.
I responded to her email with, "Thank you".

Man, I don't know how you pulled off waiting this long for everything.
When my W was talking about leaving, and I figured there was nothing I could do about it, I pretty much resolved to go on with my life.
In fact, she took the day off to pack for the movers, and at one point she came to me and asked what I was thinking, so I told here what I was thinking: "It's going to be really weird not talking you anymore except when we make the divorce arrangements and sign the papers".
She balked at that and started crying. She didn't leave much to my suprise.
