My parents are still on guard, my mom keeps talking about others saying, "well he seemed like a good guy original, but your H did as well, so we cant judge a book by its cover...".
They were both disappointed by him but right now, they struggle so much with their health issues and H has been there for me and them, they are content with the way he treats everybody. My kids say often to my mom how they feel and she reports to me all the time how they say they are so much happier now, so I guess that affects them as well...
I need to work on not being afraid of his reactions regarding little things.I have this fear from the time before he moved out that I was walking on eggshells. In general, I feel I am a good partner right now.
I thank you ALL for supporting me through this journey. We still have long ways to go and I cant say I am sure we will make it to the end, but things look so much better and they keep improving daily. K
Everything is sounding positively lovely...I miss showering together! Lucky H....(i would say lucky you but hey he's the lucky one!)
I was thinking probably your mom has/had what we in US call shingles...I have heard it can be unbearably painful when it flares up. The late night host David Letterman got them several years back and was off his show for like a week...
A long weekend during his Europe trip? Sounds like fun!
Invited you to meet him while he's traveling for work!!!!!!!!!!! That's so awesome! You definitely need to make that work. I vote you find someone to watch the kids and take a vacation for yourself!
I am glad your mom's getting better. When you said herpes I was very confused but I know what shingles is. Did your mom not have chicken pox as a kid? And it surprises me that she doesn't have good immunity still since your children must have had chicken pox? Here it is very common and people actually make sure their kids either catch it or get vaccinated to prevent it showing up as shingles as an adult. One of my friends has had shingles 3 times the poor guy. It's apparently so much more painful when you get the virus as an adult than as a child.

As a matter of fact I did FiB, for many reasons that I cant say, it would REALLY be TMI. But, it is part of my new self, I was very conservative regarding sex, he had told me many times, me being..."shy" had made him hesitant. Well, I have changed, lets see if he will let go of hesitations...
