I just bought Rolling Stone magazine for quite possibly the FIRST time ever bc the glee cast was on the cover... smile

You MUST watch all the shows from the beginning! You can get them at Blockbuster or prob netflix too...the Fox website has little write-ups on each character. If I lived closer I would bring the dvds over. You could grill for me and I would introduce you to the glee kids!

What an evening...

I picked up the kids at day care after my run...(no it did not stop my wandering mind either!!)

I took them up to Hu Hot for dinner to celebrate good report cards (Only 9 more weeks of school, hooray!)...while I was there R started texting me flirty texts..

However in the middle of those Dan started texting me asking if he could come see the kids tonight before bed (if you recall he gets in tonight from 4 days in Canada and leaves in the morning for a cattle trip to Oklahoma)...

It was difficult for a bit bc I would start to reply to something R said and then a text would pop up from Dan! Had to make sure I sent the right reply to the right guy...

Anyway I stopped replying to either of them so I could pay attention to the kids. We went to blockbuster and they each picked a movie for Friday Night Movie Night! Nate got Avatar the cartoon (not the blue people), Sydney got the Will Ferrel movie Elf. grin She rocks...

So I get in the car to drive home and Dan is asking when we will be home (I had told him earlier that we were out in the city and would be back later), no rush just he wanted to come over...

So he was waiting for us basically up the street, as he pulled up the minute I turned the corner to our house. I had my ringer "on" on my phone, and I thought it was funny bc the whole time he was there it would beep a new message from R every 5-10 minutes...he stayed for about an hour and really that was ok with me. I treated him like a visitor/babysitter, didn't talk to him much, let him watch tv with the kids, help them brush their teeth, etc. I got our tax forms off the internet for him to sign and when he left I hardly looked up just said 'bye have a good trip'...I can hardly imagine who that girl was that practically chased him down the stairs onto the porch to ask why he couldn't stay. Granted Sydney told him she wanted him to stay...he said he had to go check cows. Nice direct answer... cool

OK no input from y'all yet about my hair! I know I want more golden blonde tones (carrie underwood-ish, not platinum blonde!)....thinking I will cut 3-4 inches off...whenever I start working out and feeling better I tend to go slightly shorter on my hair for some reason. Again not short short, just above my shoulders. Not sure what that is about...

Btw I thought Elf was hysterical! The right amount of cute-funny from Will Ferrel without all the bathroom humor...

If you bring the DVDs, I'll pop the popcorn! Heck, I'll cook dinner, breakfast and lunch for as long as it takes! I'll even vacuum first!

I can't give any input on your hair, whatever you do I think I will approve... to say the very least!

You better head down to see Jeff soon before he really cleans his whole house!! LOL

As for your hair I have to think of my own. Mine is just a tad longer than my shoulders. Have several options that way as far as to wear it up, down , pulled back. When I go shorter, ponytails are not quite tails and my hair doesn't stay back very well. An added bonus(which I never thought I would say because I hated when ex did it) K played with my hair. But after it is wet from the rain it really doesn't matter!!

So my advice is have it cut where you still have options...too short and you lose them.

BBJ - Have been a little busy on my end, but I wanted to catch up this am, because your thread makes me smile. Your daily ramblings are so familiar to my life!

OK, let's get to serious topics...

Your HAIR! In your fb profile pic it looks fab! I like it more layered and blonder than your other pics. And, the length is good. Long enough for a ponytail. Can't cut that option out of your life!

Sounds interesting w/R. Do you have any plans w/him soon???? Hmmmm?

LOVE Elf! Sydney is my kind of girl! Avatar! Nathan needs tom come hang w/my S10.

Jeff - crackin' me up. Toilets, really?

PS - I think I vote for the profile pic hair because it looks like mine! LOL

PSS - And, I'm trying really hard not to START watching Glee. I don't need another time waster! But, I'm close!

BBJ, whatever you decide on your hair, just make sure it's something that isn't going to require massive amounts of maintenance or time to arrange in the morning. We all know what a busy girl you are!

kat was totally right. Keep it at a length you can still pull up into a ponytail. I miss being able to do that but right now my hair is long enough to do it. The problem for me is I fall back to the ponytail FAR too often then. smile

Golden is the way to go. Anything much lighter and it just looks fake. Since you're a blond anyway, it shouldn't require a lot of root maintenance.

Have a great time getting pampered!!!!

Thanks for the input guys! I am not going super short, promise! Just want it right at/just above the shoulder line. When I go get my hair done I always like it to actually LOOK like I had something done! Should still be able to work a ponytail, right now the pony has lost his oomph b/c of the length so a little shorter and/or layered will help with that!

Mish with it this current length (it has not been cut since my FB profile pic, nor has it been colored!!) it hangs and looks flat, so I revert to a ponytail way too often!

And yep I like the golden blondes, they lighten me up but don't look to "Paris Hilton"-y.....
