Is it a pretty common thing that WAW will fall for somebody that is physically unattractive? I know that the emotional connection is what lures them in, and these predators are able to say everything they need to hear or aren't getting from their husbands. I have 3 friends who have gone through this same situation within the past year and all of the men were completely unattractive physically compared to what they had. For those who do still care or want it to work always keep a glimmer of hope. All of my friends did have a time when their WAW did want to work on the marriage again, but by that time they were done.
Yes. EXTREMELY common for a cheating spouse to "trade down," as it were.
