Taxes are in and my w has decided to file jointly for 09. If we file seperate I would owe 2k and she would have a refund of 3k. Joint return gives us a refund of 4500. She has really saved me some money here so I am going to thank her. Should we split it 50/50 or should I give her 3k and I take the rest?
