So yesterday afternoon after I got home I had several chores I had to do. Then made some dinner (thank God for Lean Cuisine! lol) and watched a movie. DD called to say goodnight but she was crying a lot saying she wanted to be with me and not mommy. I asked her if she got to play with her friend there and she said no her friend didn't want to play with her. Usually we talk for a couple of mins and usually she's the one to say 'ok daddy, can I go now' lol but last night we talked for almost 12mins mostly she just kept saying 'I don't want you to go' etc and just crying. A few times I got worried thinking maybe she was alone in the room and got scared or something but I asked if mommy was there and she said yes.
Normally, I'd text W back in a bit and just check to make sure DD was ok and she'd typically say something with a cavalier tone 'yeah she's just tired' etc but this time I resisted and haven't texted or said anything. Kind of a 180 for me. I know she's a good mom so she'll take care of DD.
