Pearl! I am so sorry about the non-warning! Yea! It's 28 minutes this week. Day ONE tomorrow. Ack! I have to tell you, though... I totally feel the burn (after the Week Seven) until the next day. It's f*cking empowering!

Well, first of all, our first outdoor soccer game of the season was a LOSS!!! WHAT!?!?!
S13's game was in the suburbs, a little over an hour from here. We drove my fave soccer mom and her son (my son's fave teammate) - which could be a reality show in itself, the girls calling/txting, the psyching teammates up on the way when we passed them, the STINK of boys, my GOD are you eating AGAIN? etc...)
S13's team plays at the highest level in the state, and just barely made it in. The season is sure to be a challenge, HOWEVER, they could have easily won this game tonight! We dominated the game, but were playing flat for us, and right before the half, my son, YES MY SON, got pissed at this forward on the other team, and slide tackled, and purposely didn't play the ball. WRONG CHOICE, SON! They got a free kick, and the kid scored the most beautiful, amazing upper90 I've ever seen. (Come to find out the boy was selected for the National Team, and had THE most goals by double the amount of everyone else.)
Well, the boys decided to play at the half, and as they were just getting opportunities, after eight lightning flashes they called the game early. Argh!
But, on the way home, it was the worst rain I've ever driven in, EVER. We couldn't pull over, either, because I was afraid to be hit! At one point my friend said, "My God, Mindfull, how are you even seeing anything?" I told her, "I can't! I thought you could!" The boys thought it was adventurous. Nice. But, we made it home. That was scary.
H called/txt'd about 10 times, checking on the game/us. He's coming home tonight instead of tomorrow night, as he has an appointment. Continuing the sass... (Cutter/Chatter Bug should like that!)
Also, kicking it a notch this weekend. We have a 40th birthday party to go to, and we're the decoy... I have a new little black dress! (What's underneath? )
I've recently been given some insight about my H by a new DB friend, that adds to an understanding and progress from/through G... Interesting.
I have a lot of sh*t to get done today. Crap.
PS - Meeting w/a PI on Monday. I'm done trying to make this technology work. I don't have time.

Mind - last spring my D13 was playing in a softball tournament in a KS town (famous for tornados) when a thunderstorm rolled in and after waiting an hour of raid delay the tournament was cancelled. We piled in the car to make the trip home, turned on the radio to find that there WAS a tornado on our butts----about 45 minutes to our West. I had to drive in heavier rain that I could imagine----but couldn't stop. There was no place to stop with shelter, and I couldn't take the chance of the tornado catching us. It was terrifying, hearing where the winds were hitting, the towns that were just behind us on the way. I just made sure that I drove as fast as I could with the rain---because the storm was moving at 60 mph.....I don't know what I would do if I had to do it again----but so thankful we made it home.
Sorry about the loss....but as I'm sure it is the same as our softball season....there will be plenty more chances to beat that team and others!
