Is it so strange that I would love to go back to last Friday or even that night in Branson? I know it will be fun ahead too but there is something so nice about those first few times of reconnecting.
He will be in KC in a couple of weeks and I am hoping he will want to/be able to see me then.

Yes! I really, really want to go to the Stampede this year!!! I like Keith but Gary Allan is my #1 sexy country guy!
Give country a try, I can suggest a few artists/songs if you tell me what other music you like. Country is pretty diverse from twang to sappy, to pop, to rockin', you name it I can find something you'd like, promise!
I am really liking Daughtry right now. I do like Shania, Faith Hill and the Dixie Chicks. Do NOT like the twangy stuff. So I guess I like that stuff that is considered cross-over music.
I will really listen to that song after I get home from taking the kids to the movies and watching the final basketball game.

Jason Aldean: Johnny Cash (that is the name of the song)--good rockin' fun The Truth (moving, good song)
Gary Allan:(my imaginary bf!) Songs About Rain The One--THE song I want some man to sing to me someday!! Get Off on the Pain (yeah he's kind of dark but I find it sexy!)
If you like Dixie Chicks, try this tough chica:
Miranda Lambert: Kerosene--toe tappin/stompin fun/sassy! White Liar--Dan's ringtone The House That Built Me (quiet, slow but beautiful song)
What kinds of Rock do you like, Kat? A lot of the great rockers and main-streamers of the past have moved over to Country in recent years. The Eagles, Darius Rucker, Bon Jovi, Jewel, Sheryl Crow, just to name a few. It's now a pretty big tent. I'm sure it wouldn't take long before you'd find something you'd like.
(I myself had been resisting Country for most of my life, but I've found all the artists and musical styles I like have tended to migrate there already over the years. Modern Country is their home now, and I have come to prefer it.)
I love the Eagles and Hootie can't go too far from the Blowfish can he? Daughtry even has a couple songs on there latest album that might be considered crossover. Be patient with me on this, I am just dipping my toe in the water!
I prefer easy listening, pop rock and even classical music. We will see where this leads me.
