These boys are starting to make me crazy. I'm sure this never happens to anyone else, but do your boys ever go through a phase of fighing non-stop? OMG! I keep telling them to knock it off, or I'm going to thump them (LOL! Threatened w/it their entire lives, but finally asks... yesterday... "Mom, what happens when you're thumped, anyways?") This week is Spring Break. It's bound to get worse! Oy!
So, I had H take them to dinner last night - it's a guys night, right? I was so excited for some peace and quiet! So, how did I spend my peace and quiet? CLEANING CARPETS!! Ha! They look fab, though, and I'm sure I burned some calories.
When they got home, H and I watched some tv together in the pub. Only one "boy" interruption. It was nice...
Today, starts chaos. Day ONE - Outdoor soccer season. S13 plays out of town tonight (and at the same fields an hour and a half away), and the rest of the season at the same facility during the week... S10 has training on every night S13 has games. H travels all week, during the week. How am I supposed to handle this? I've hired D18, and posse, to handle S10 on those nights. He'll probably learn a lot this season!
S10's games are on weekends, and they both have at least four tournaments, mostly out of town, but some where they both play.
Oh, and did I mention, S13 runs track for school? He just ran a 5:35 1600 in his first meet. I told him... 5:35! That's my walking part of my run! And, you've already covered a mile of the 5k in that time! LoL
So, someone wish me luck. Here we go again!
(PS - I LOVE sports, so, the chaos is exhausting, but I wouldn't miss a game unless I was on my deathbed! And, who would coach them from the OTHER side of the field? LOL)
