The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that Sandra Bullock has the right idea.

Start calling the shots hard and fast and leave the @sshole in a quivering heap.

I think a couple more recent examples are Orich's and NurseHusband.

You have to tailor your "strategy" to your sitch and your spouse. What works for one might now work for another.

Brand New Day was another 'Bo-Peeper' that worked - also Butterflymomas was mentioned before on another thread.

As the MLCers have their own forum it is hard to monitor all theit successes.

BTW - I don't like the label MLC - I think all of us at some time go through some form of 'transitional crisis' whatever it may be, (empty nesting, parent dying etc), we all just deal with it differently....and some in a more healthy way than others.

MLC or MLT I agree we all go thru them. Thats why we think the
LBS is the most important thing to focus on.

I agree. More specifically, Andropause. I was two years ago, Thyroid and testosterone had plummeted. Since almost day one with natural treatment (bio-identical topical testosterone and natural Thyroid pills). I was back! Important to find a doctor who believes in "optimal" levels, not "normal reference ranges". IOW, if I'm in an age group that historically has low ranges/levels, why would I want to be raised to - or maintained at - the "normal" depleted ranges for my age?

Optimize. Find a doctor that looks to optimize levels to 30-year-old ranges.

Getting off my soapbox, now.

p.s. OldPilot: Why you callin' yourself "old" at 56? Other people who are 56 might take exception to that wink

Its not necessarily true. Being cheated on has had the effect of lowering testosterone, sex drive among other factors.

Daddylongshanks,

Have you actually read DR? I suggest you do that and create your own post so you can get feedback on your sitch.

I agree with Mr Bond. You need to get the DR book and read it. Start your own thread in either newcomers or MLC. There are no tricks here. If you want to save your marriage YOU have to do the work!!!!!
