Good start. No, you do not have control over her or her decisions. Detach. This is the only thing that will keep your sanity. Detach. GAL. And keep a PMA.

The thing is I FEEL deep in my gut that it's wrong. I totally believe that she is making a mistake.

The collision of fact v. feeling is painful and haunting.

She may very well be making the biggest mistake of her life. But you can not stop her from making it, and by trying to do so, you are going to be thought of as controlling. This will just push her further out the door. You can not stop her from doing what she feels she needs to do, all you can do is be the best person you can be for yourself. And if she is not going to see it, than someone else eventually will. And you will be a better person in the long run for it. PMA!!!!!
