Then I was thinking (mostly of the weirdness factor), if I was a father and had a younger friend, would I want them dating my daughter?

About the only way I can relate is I hire undergraduates to work in the lab. And about a year ago, I had a single female student (tall, like 5'11") working in the lab. And I set her up with one of my younger bagpiping students, mainly because he is 6'4".
He would see my party side, she saw my work side, I was privy to both their lives. I would get TMI about their love life. ACK! It just sort of kooked me out.

Mornin' MF.

I have not had any interaction with the W. She has not contacted me about her stuff either. I am not surprised. Up to now, she really has just avoided me. I'm sure she would rather I just disappeared and pretended the whole thing M thing never happened.

Just following Rob's plan. I'm sure she has a lot to think about.

I called her father on Thursday and thanked him for the bday card. I'm not sure if I should have done this, but I told him I agreed with my W decision to leave and that I packed up her stuff. He said he was sorry to hear that. I also called my W's grandma and thanked her for the card and money. It is obvious she was left out of the loop. She was expected me tomorrow, so I lied and said I had something else and couldn't make it.

I think I joined the right FB group. You'll have to check it out and let me know.

I think you did ok. The ball is in her court.

And jeez, man! Look at you! A 20-something is digging on you. Awesome!

Was it the older one or the younger one? Forgive me for skimming your thread.

Oh, and just for the record, I had an intense crunch on my French teacher in jr high. It was the only class where I picked a front row seat. There is just something about being hot for teacher.

One more thing: the Mornin' MF....

....hee....I'm just in a weird mood today. smile

Go me! If you skim my thread, I got mistaken for a 27-30yr old on my bday. Maybe it's 'cuz I'm 40 now, and I'm being weird or maybe the blond hair hides gray. Or the fantastic weight loss program called the D diet.

I asked the 29yr old how old she thought I was. She guessed 33 or 35 at the most.

The 21 year old digging me?!? ACK! I can't even relate to that.
