No man has it worse than Somalia pirates that attack a ship and then find out it is a US Navy Frigate. Those guys have something meaningful to cry about.

Yeah, interesting parallel I thought of. Dan could come home every night to a wife who loves him and kids who adore him. He could relax on the couch while I make dinner (I actually like doing things like that since I get off work at 4:00)...he could go to sleep at night in a house that needs NO repairs, with plenty of money in the bank.

But nope, that wasn't bearable for him? crazy Cause I didn't meet his needs or support his dreams, ya know...

ROTFLMAO!!!

I saw that story this morning and was laughing so hard I nearly fell out of my chair. How exactly do you mistake a US Navy frigate for some helpless merchant ship? Is it that battleship gray paint? The tons of sonar? THE GUNS MOUNTED ON THE DECK???? DUH!!!! grin

BBJ, he really started crying? Good God! He and Gabe were definitely separated at birth. Gabe cries to me all the time and is all contrite now that I put a roof over his dumb head. I should send him to live with Dan! That would get interesting in a hurry! LOL

For as long as he's paying support and is responsible with kids, don't take his moaning personal.

Ugh...he is paying, just telling me how broke and screwed he is while he does so...

He just came to pick up the kids. Took Nathan out in the front yard for some batting practice as he wants to play ball this spring. All was going fine until the neighbor's 5 yr old asked to hit a few. And he could hit better than Nathan.

So immediately Dan's good mood takes a nosedive and he starts picking at Nathan's every move....then when Nathan is inside he tells me he will be practicing w/Nathan every day and I need to do the same when I have him. I told him that he will NOT go off on me if Nathan does not play well on the field this season, he started saying how I signed him up for baseball at 3 and didn't practice, then I signed him up for football and 5 and didn't practice, this time it was NATHAN who wanted to play and we both needed to help him practice...

It was just the kind of pissy tension that I hated when he lived with me..........was a kick in the pants reminder why we CAN'T live together.

You know you sign him up so that he can have fun, and start to get a feel for if he wants to play! At that age, he doesn't know what's involved, he can't make decision that he is going to practice like that now. Let him have fun. Go out and play with him when it works. Let him play with his friends. Maybe get a ball return net so he can play catch with himself a bit. And don't panic!
