Great weekend! Camped out for an iPad with my brother, made it on the news. I'll post here if I find the footage online. Played some disc golf Saturday as well, my brother enjoyed that.

Saturday night, my brother decided to stay in town so I brought him out for barbecue with K4D. Kev was cool with it, which I was thankful for. My brother will definitely have some DBing knowledge should he ever need to use it

The iPad was a huge hit at church yesterday. People always start with a "isn't this just a big iPhone?" When they actually use it, it's a revelation.

Nice talk with W last night. She said the weekend was nice, but she had a really hard time Saturday night, when she had to give her car up and everyone else left. She really needs space from her grandparents. Surprise, surprise.

We're on for this weekend and possibly the next. She's also really excited about the Netbook again, talked it over with her Aunt and it's OK. Her Aunt wanted her to get something nicer, closer to $1000, but she told W the Netbook would work and she could get something nicer at Christmas. I've always felt in competition with them, so I'm biting my tongue on this one. I wonder if she told her Aunt that I bought it for her.

Just got denied taking a couple days off next week to celebrate my 90. These guys are rigid. The money is fantastic though, just need to remember that.

Good talk with W last night, we're finalizing plans for the next two weekends.

I'd been kicking around a Steve McQueen idea, and decided to go for it and watch the results. W had asked if I had any links to the newspapers or TV stations that interviewed us, so I sent this back:

Oh, really W? A self-righteous comment, after what I found out last week? Or maybe that's not what she's saying. I don't think I'll respond.

Very excited about this weekend. We're meeting in Nacogdoches, known locally as Nac-a-nowhere. It's halfway between us, and looks like just the type of small town we love to visit. W found a great hotel and I talked them down on the price.

The weather has been absolutely perfect the last couple days, and I can't wait to ride my motorcycle there. It's about 3 hours, but with weather like this I'm going for it. W asked some interesting questions this week, like what do I tell my co-workers about her. I told her it doesn't come up much.

Work is also much better today, slowest call volume since I've been here. I'm also getting to help a client set up a blog, right up my alley. Glad I've stuck it out here, it seems to be paying off. Had to deal with some insurance stuff with W and my boss, but I'm not thinking about that now, will post later. Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm glad you had a fund weekend. Seems like things are getting better for you. I moved over to MLC forum. Could you check out things for me? Could really use your advice.
