Possible EA - sitting on the edge

Need some advice on consequences around the boundary. We live in a jurisdiction where both have equal right to the marital home. I can't make her leave. Is there some other consequence which helps ensure the boundary is serious?

W still hasn't come home and by strange coincidence BIL showed up from a bike ride to have a beer. Quite pleasant but again a bit unusual
