Wow, that is so key, that your families have fun together...nice!

I am thinking half marathons are about all I want to tackle at this point!

Update from the lawyers office

Maybe by next week. Seems there was a snafu with one of the retirements. STBXH was suppose to have the kids last weekend and the S only lasted one night.

I also got a text from donkey on friday night, staying:

"You could have told me the kids knew about FFG. I've been living in solitidue Sandy. The reason for the agression and so much frustration. Sorry.... but I have been trying to play by all the so called rules for a long time. I just would have appreciated not having to be alone for this long. But it's not your fault"

So many crazy things here.. 1st ~ he hasn;t been alone, he's been chasing skirt since before he left here. 2nd~ You never ask a darn thing about me, or I would have gladly told you. 3rd~ if you ever got your children and gave me a break they probably woulnd't have met him as soon as they did, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. This is a great relationship, and I am not going to spend time away from my kids to pursue it. I will not lie to my children.

Then he dropped some paper work off the other night and sent a text 10 minutes later:

Just so you know.... I'd have more respect for you and him if you didn't hide. It's silly. And it doesn't speak well of either of you."

Now, he was not here so I text back:

Whose hiding? Don't assume anything ..he's with his children at his home. It's silly that you think these thoughts... doesn't speak well of you."

Oh and by sat am he told our D and her friend to meet a lady that he's known for 2 weeks. S wouldn't stay the whole weekend I had to go pick him up Saturday night at 9pm, FFG was with me as we were out to dinner but donkey didn't come to the car to meet him.

Out of the blue Donkey called kids to go out on Wed night and daughter refused.... fiegning sick stomach but S went.

Seems, although donkey has been told the kids are on spring break and I am not , that he FORGOT (although, he's been told by email, text, verbal)Thanks for helping entertain the kids this week.

Last Wednesday night, I ruptured my tendon in my calf muscle. Donkey called while I was being taken to the ER, I told him what was going on. No offer to get the kids, nothing. I just sent a text to FFG letting him know that I would be out of pocket and what was going on (he was on shift), he calls and said "I'm out of here in 10 mins, your going to be in pain and need some help"

At first, I was thinking "Nah, I can do it myself, but within abourt 30 min, I didn't care who did what... just bring on the drugs" The kids were worried about me and he told them he would stay up and keep my leg propped and iced and with the drugs and all after being up till about 4am.. I woke up with my kids sent off to school with a cooked breakfast and homemade lunches. So nice. He has taken great care of me and the kids during this. My S was asking FFG "how do you get my mom to sit down, she's so stubborn about doing stuff". They were joking and laughing at my expense. It was nice that he took time off to help me and the kids.

I can remember holding a 9 month old baby with a 3 year old strapped to my leg and throwing up and asking for donkey to come home... he chose to not do it, when he could have. Things you forget about, I suppose.

Back to the big D..... possibly next week. But then again, I've been hearing that since the end of Feb.

Wow, you found a GOOD GUY....that is a wonderful thing indeed. Cooked breakfast, made lunches, no wonder your kids like him. They can see he isn't just using their mom....

Sorry about the injury. How did you rupture it, or know that it happened, if the pain came later? Just curious as that is not an injury I have had!

Too bad Donkey is being Donkey...

I hope you recover quickly! Hope it doesn't interrupt your running for too long. But I hear the weather is pretty yucky right now so staying in for a few rainy days isn't too bad.

FFG sounds like a great catch--I'm so glad you're the one who caught him!

OMG I hate to sing his praises (almost like I am scared to jinx it) but he is amazing and has been since the injury.... he has really stepped up and forces me to sit and let him handle things... he decorated 70 eggs with all the kids... hid them all by himself... helped set up lunch for 12, cleaned it up, helped clean up before the guest.. I could go on and on but you get the picture. I met some of his HS buddies over the weekend and this is what I was told when FFG was not around by the wives "He is such a nice guy" (they have all known him for 20 years) and at one point his BFF walked through and heard the ladies talking and stopped walked back a few steps and said "and he's loyal". Later on when they were leaving the same friend leaned in and hugged me and said "Thank you, you have brought much joy to my friend... he deserves that."
Plus, FFG's momma gave me an Easter card and in it wrote something along these lines~ "Thank you for entering my sons life. As a mom it warms my heart to see the gleam in his eyes. Your a warm, funny, caring person..... Love, FFG Momma

Wow~ so validation from others is nice. It's hard when your not from an area to know some back story on someone... it's trusting at face value... which for me is scary...so these things mean so much.

How's the injury?

HUGS! Glad to have found you here again!

Sorry about the injury. How did you rupture it, or know that it happened, if the pain came later? Just curious as that is not an injury I have had! I ruptured it playing dodge ball with 70 middler schoolers! LOL I turned and pivoted and felt a POP... started hurting a little bit but within about 15 minutes the pain was off the hook! I am still on crutches (which this sucks big time... I can't carry things around the house or anywhere else... heck can't even grocery shop unless I "ride" in the chair because I can't push a cart and crutch it. It will be a long recovery... the 1/2 marathon in June may be a pipe dream for now.

Kerry ~ In case I haven't mentioned it.... I love you... to bad I'm not Asian and live in Oregon... LMAO

Funny how those cheating donkey's are so lonely. With as much travel as my Donkey does and for the length of time he is gone... it's gonna take one special gal to stick with him... most ladies won't like it if their man is gone 30 days at a time. Probably really not if they knew his one flaw!
