Kids are home--loving it!!! We have nonstop plans this weekend, and if I'm not busy at work tomorrow then I'm going to try to maybe take a half day so I can spend more time with the kids.
Picked them up yesterday at X's apt. complex. X didn't take any time off with the kids so D10 was running around with her friends yesterday, it was super sunny and no suntan lotion. So she got sunburned. I was concerned about that when I picked her up and as always wanting to get out of there before X showed up from work (already had my yelling quota for a lifetime). So didn't notice that D10 didn't have her glasses on.
We couldn't find them this am, time to leave for work, and then she said I think I left them at dad's. So I emailed him this am saying what happened and I will look for them tonight, but if they're at his place let me know and/or he could drop them off with D10 at daycare until 5.
He emails me back this afternoon: OW dropped them off for D10.
Then something like: As I'm always telling you, you need to not rush off before checking to make sure the kid's have all their stuff, blah blah.
I just emailed back I think the kids should just pack or have packed their stuff in their backpacks.
D10 had her glasses when I picked her up tonight. She said Dad dropped them off, and said he didn't say anything about her sunburn. Well, one of them lied, and my D10 doesn't lie but guess it's possible she didn't want to hurt me, but...I think he just said that about OW to hurt me. Oh, well, doesn't hurt like it used to, so progress anyway...
