I left my crappy C who I was only sticking with to do the EMDR, and will be starting with a new, "mindfullness-buddhist-based" one next week, who also does EMDR.
The Bad C said I couldn't do EMDR on "recent trauma" but the new one implied I could.
What have you gotten from EMDR? does it help with the anxiety? the repeating repeating repeating the story?
Sounds like you and H are dealing with the travel/time away as best as you can. Sounds like you are BOTH working on it, which is great.
