Why not???
If a friend of yours asked for your help so she could get a break, would you think she was intrusive/presumptuous/unloving/weak/mean/whatever, or, would you consider it a reasonable request and try to help you out if you could?
Now, I understand not wanting XH touching your life. I still feel that way a good deal of the time. (This is a good reason not to Facebook, BTW...) BUT, you brought him into your HOUSE. He is LIVING WITH YOU. He's going to touch your life, your Wii, your plans, your mother. So, privacy does not seem a relevant concern at this point.
