I followed the script very closely. It was hard. <hands still shaking> I was upbeat-ish. I couldn't tell if she was surprised or not. It didn't seem like she was.
Yeah. She pretty much agreed with me the whole time. She wanted to get together to talk about D arrangements. I put it off for now.
I can't think of anything else to add. I'm sure I could if someone had a question.
Well, it is just like Rob said. I need to agree with her feelings. And her feelings are that she wants to leave. No big surprise that she agreed with her own feelings. I didn't expect her to have a "come to Jesus" moment and say she wanted to come back. But I guess now she has something different to think about. And I expected this outcome, it is just hard to take. But I'm calming down now. I need to get rid of my hope, like Rob says, and accept it.

You did good, no one said any of this was easy, it is hard but you did good, no matter what you might be thinking.
Let her worry about the divorce arrangements, you did your part, let her invest the time & effort in getting the ball rolling, you don't have to do that. If she asks, just tell her "Hey wife, I would prefer that you took care of it and I'll sign the papers when you get them done up and I've had some time to get my lawyer to look at them."
that's it.
Always put your best foot forward, up beat, positive, awesome, etc.
Nothing else you can do so no sense in worrying about it.
