Re. the phone--with my exH's job, he is the boss. He has to talk to foremen at the meat plants, customers, vendors, truck routers, and occasionally truck drivers, you name it they call him. All the time. However I noticed that he went from taking a ton of calls in front of me (after all why couldn't I hear him talk about an order being shipped incorrectly?) and leaving his phone in plain view on the counter, on the table beside him, etc, to keeping in on his person at all times (shirt or pant pocket).
Also he started taking even longer in the bathroom when we would go out to dinner, go shopping, etc. Now I know it was bc he was calling/texting the ow. He also started suddenly getting a lot of texts 'from the plant' even though previously it was all done via talking on the phone? Yeah, when he started taking his phone into the bathroom I got worried, too.
Does his phone have a password on it? When Dan's had a passcode required out of the blue after NEVER having one for years with a cell phone, that was a red flag. Luckily (or not!) for me when he rolled over in bed and I found his secret phone one night, it was not password protected. Cause duh, I didn't know about it! So I locked myself in the bathroom at 2 am and read about 200 texts.... However in my case he had always slept in underwear but suddenly started wearing pajama pants to bed. Found out later it was bc they had pockets and that is where he kept the phone while he slept...
Anyway not trying to make you paranoid. Just the red flags I had. Keep in mind this is all coming from someone who has had to deal with infidelity. Someone who hasn't might not see red flags where I do...
Oh and I want in on the shopping/drinking/running club! I am just a one-hour flight from your neck of the woods!
Mind, the heck with the records why not check the phone logs when he's asleep? The important thing to remember when you're doing this act is that you must be precise and only reach down there for the PHONE!!! or I can't guarantee the consequences LOL

I am so curious- did you get to his phone? I've been in this spot before, suspecting something and doing everything I can to snoop and dig. It sucks! I hope whatever you find gives you (some kind of) peace.
