He will BLAME you if you ever voice an opinion about this type of stuff and or possibly say you judge or are critical of him, his earning capacity, whatever. Do not fall into the trap of having his own career unhappiness projected onto you! Especially since he has already repeatedly voiced his resentment about your earnings.
