MF, that's exactly the thought that sprang to mind. We had bottle service for the bachelorette party and it was vodka with mixers. I wanted to stay away from fruit juice--too much sugar and extra calories--and the only other mixer they brought was soda. Perfect! That's what MF's naturopath allows!
Just did week 6, day 1. This was my favorite mix so far cuz it had a Duran Duran sample! Unfortunately my tummy was not doing so hot so I didn't feel that great but I did get it done. Now wondering if I can handle tonight's planned menu: stir fried veggies with peanut sauce.
I call dibs on D18's room for the sleepover!

And, Pearl, D18 lives on her own now, in a college apartment. You don't want THAT room! ICK! And, her old room is now occupied by S10, but we have a guest room, OR you can take over S13's Fighting Illini room! Haha Actually, had you taken D18's room for a sleepover when she still lived here, you probably would have had your choice of cocktails! You wouldn't believe what we found when we were moving her out! I kept telling her she is not too big to put over my knee! LoL God! Can't say I'm looking forward to those days in another few years w/S13!

I didn't realize S10 had moved into D18's old room. Ok, I'll take the guest room! I just don't want to be the one stuck sleeping on the floor if rocked, kara, flowmom, et al show up too.
I think it's Nixon saying "No one had a bad trip" over and over.
Also, I make the peanut sauce myself. Found a quick, easy recipe that doesn't call for coconut milk. I substitute agave nectar for honey and lime juice for rice vinegar and use low-sodium soy sauce. Turns out great as far as we're concerned. I mix it up in the morning and let it sit all day. This time I made it last Thursday but decided I wanted something else so it's been in the fridge since then. BF thought the flavor was more intense so that's an option too.
