Penthouse, huh? I believe the "not hot" if she was in Penthouse. LOL And I certainly believe the "spread" reference... eek

This girl *was* hot. But I think she was embarrassed it (being in grad school and all) and really tried to downplay it by dressing slouchy. My cycling/piping buddy told her he thought she was a tranny. He thought she was "tucking". If you ever want to get a girl's attention (even one who is trying to avoid attention), question their womanhood. We ended up being friends.

Just an aside, I happened to have the issue of Playboy she was in, long before I met her (just for the articles, of course). It was just sitting on the bookcase for years. I didn't find out about the Playboy thing until she was leaving to do her Post-Doc. I had just thrown the mag away like a month before. cry

Whatever happened to your Penthouse "sweet"-mate?

She bought boobs w/the cash.

She purred like a cat when alone w/a male in the room next to ours.

She never graduated.

OK, so, how are you doing on Rob's plan? smile

Cuz I'm a man with a plan. Unfortunately, Saturday will be a bust. I'm busy all day and going out for my birthday with the fam.

Step 1. Clean garage. Setup space to receive boxes. - Complete
Step 2. Locate packing supplies (boxes, tape, etc) - In progress (going to buy boxes to speed this process along)
Step 3. Pack and move belongings to garage - In progress
Step 4. Inform the WAS - Before next Sunday

It won't even be ready, but I want to wait until after my B-day to inform her. If my B-day passes, as I think it will, it will only give me more packing fuel. However, I want to do it before next weekend. Next Sunday is Easter and will probably be held at her grandma's house. Her grandma freakin' loves me, because of all the work I do on her house projects. I'm sure she doesn't know what is going on. It might be d*ckish, but I'd like to add the extra stress of my detachment on top of having to explain where I am and why I'm not there.

Is it wrong to feel that way?

Then again, she is so conflict adverse, she will probably not go. All her sisters love me and it might get weepy and emotional.

Which brings up a question I'm curious about. Has anyone with a WAS been asked to attend family functions to make things appear normal?

Fergie -

I followed you in again. Enjoying peace and quiet for ONCE on a weekend at home. (We have a D18 who steadily turned the home upside down for a few years!)

Love the plan.

Love the timing even more.

My H and I are not separated, so we attend everything together... Can't help there!

WTG!

Ahh... children. They are great when they are small, but you definitely don't want them in the house when they are teenagers. smile

But then every night for me is peace and quiet. smirk

Just got a line on Craigslist for the perfect number and size of boxes, just down the street. They could be mine even as early as tonight, but it is getting a little late. Waiting on a call back.

In the meantime, enjoying some deep dish pizza.

I am close with my H family. Just this past weekend I got together with them for the first time in months. It really depends on the in laws. My in laws were/are fantastic...my H acted a bit strange..but that is the norm. It didn't ruin my time. If you decide to go..act confident..like you belong..like nothing has changed...YOU have nothing to be ashamed of. If they are accepting of you..show your W that you are mature enough to handle such a potentially awkward sitch. My H ended up looking like an a**.
I enjoyed dinner with his family...it was a night out- and a good meal.

Don't let it get weepy or emotional. Don't over stay..control the situation..leave when you feel like it is time. Don't expect anything from your W. My H didn't even walk me out. My in laws were appalled..it didn't bother me much- I did feel slightly sad afterwards..but it was well worth it.

The situation will be as awkward as you allow it to be.

Fergie, you have no idea. Our kids go to Lutheran schools, so you would THINK they might be GOOD, RIGHT? OMG! They're ALL heathens! Once they start to drive, it's all down hill. Keys taken away, car taken away, WHERE WERE YOU, REALLY, breathalizers, grad parties, PROM(s), college visits, keg stands, draggin' them into the house by their ear, NO, YOU MAY NOT DO A SHOT!, etc... Makes you want to have a "V" JUST IN CASE, huh? smile

Great job executing. I'm proud of you.

What do YOU want to do on Easter? That's what matters now.

HUGS, and Birthday swats!

Jeez... you are bumming me out just hearing it. Send them to military school! That's what my mom would threaten me with. But I knew she was bluffing, because I grew up on a farm and they needed the free labor. That and I knew we couldn't afford it. Nice try, mom.

With cell phones, texting, email, chat, web cams, etc. it's a lot easier to get into trouble. 16 years old going on 30.

I just wish I executing faster. It has been pretty slow going this morning. I stayed out too late last night. I'll pick up the pace, though.

Thanks for the swats. I like a good swatting.

(P.S. My b-day isn't until Tuesday.)

Taking a five minute break and checking my email.

Coke Zero - check
Chili Cheese Fries - maybe in an hour
Sleep an hour - probably do 20 minutes
Sugar Free Red Bull - I'll do a 180 and try it

Damn, she has a lot of sex books. Like a whole sh*t load. And I'm not talking smutty romance either, because she has even more of those. What's the deal with that? Aren't these books like porn for women? Does she have a book/porn addiction?
