MF, BF and I just finished a run, almost 20 minutes. BF can't keep up with me already, lord only knows what will happen on race day. wink grin laugh

I spent all day yesterday running around doing errands so today I'm doing laundry and my nails. You can come over and help me clean out my closets any day!

Flo - It comes in bursts, don't get too impressed! LoL

Pearl - Well, at least you'll give him something to chase then! wink

Still have my closet to do, which last year I moved to the guest room (which I now call my "dressing room" - like I'm a darn queen!), because, since we live in a 100 year old house, the closets are not conducive to my clothing lifestyle, and H thinks he needs some closet room, as well....

UPDATE - AND IT AIN'T GONNA BE PRETTY

So, yesterday afternoon we ended up going (H, boys and I) to my BFF's daughter's AllStar basketball game. (Our sons are BFF's too, so there's a lot of intermingled familial activities.) H suggested we all go to dinner afterward (as he's friendly w/her H, as well...). So, we all went, and H did the coordinating of getting 10 of us into dinner on a Saturday night, last minute, during NCAA basketball season (requirement of the restaurant to go to was that we'd be able to view a TV). It was totally fun, and all had a good time.

We get home, and everyone's tired (both boys attended sleep-overs the night before), and H got in quite late from work. So, everyone is sleeping early. About 3am H gets up (sleeps in his underwear), and goes into the bathroom. He doesn't know I am awake, and I see him checking his phone, as he walks into the bathroom. I sit up (barely able to see since I've fallen asleep in my contacts - and they're super dry and blurry) and just let him know I'm awake. He goes to the bathroom, comes out in his robe, and asks if I want something to drink from the kitchen. When he comes back in, he goes back to the bathroom, hangs up his robe, and comes back to bed (in his underwear). I purposely look to see if he's carrying his phone, since if he was I would make a comment along the lines of... "drivers bugging you on a Saturday night now?" or something along those lines... But, I can't view the phone. So, a few questions, and some bothersome thoughts:

#1 - It seems suspect that he would check his phone during the night on a Saturday night... during the week, not so suspect because he has drivers checking in non-stop. I'm not sure of their schedule, and they COULD be working on a Saturday night, as their loads vary, and they are traveling for him all over the US. BUT, it just seems odd.
#2 - Why not have the phone in view when he comes out?
#3 - Where was he hiding the phone, in his underwear? (LoL - not a lot of room there - as soon as I'm done typing this I'm going to check in the bathroom, as he's still asleep...)
#4 - I chose not to say anything then since, I could barely see, AND, I wasn't entirely coherent. However, when he came back to bed, I couldn't sleep, and he tried talking to me... friendly conversation while laying there. I'm chatty (who knew?) and almost ALWAYS friendly w/him, so I'm sure he noticed the difference in demeanor. The less I would engage, the more he tried to chat.
#5 - I WILL say something (tomorrow am before he goes back out of town, and the boys aren't here), so I'm open to suggestions.
#6 - How to act today? He's taking the boys bowling this am w/my parents. And, then all afternoon he's playing in a poker tournament (I encouraged it, as he enjoys the guys - friends in our neighborhood - and he's very good. Might win!). So, I won't see him too much, just this evening...

And, remember, I'm not afraid to speak up now.

Ick.... not enough to say anything for sure, but still creepy.

Checking the phone could be such a habit that day of the week doesn't matter, but he could have checked it before he went in. So why take it in with him? I don't know... could be nothing, and could be something. And certainly is icky.

If you say anything, you could almost write his answer for him... "One of the drivers needed something, I didn't want to disturb you, so I went to the bathroom to text him back." So I don't know how much you gain by saying anything.

I will say that you have known him a long time, if something seems odd, there's a good chance it is. But there are a lot of different flavors of odd, some aren't bad. I guess I've taken the long way to say, "I don't know!"

I'm wondering if I need to move my thread to the Infidelity forum. I may need ALL resources available to smoke him out, if he's needing to be smoked out.

If not... he's a lucky man!

Ugh MF. I'm sorry that you have to worry about this. It could be totally innocent, or not frown . Point is you don't know. Try to act normal until you have a plan. Breathe.

Flo -

That's the kicker. I think I'm just going to buck up the $600 and buy the cell phone records. Expensive peace... or ammo... not sure which yet.

I'm acting normal, but he's not getting any special treatment! smile He still has a welcoming home, clean and polished children, and warm food in his tummy. Oh, and soon, a sweaty wife. I have to go run off this anger.

I wouldn't say anything right now because VH is right, you know what he'll say and have no way to verify right now. IF you are dealing with an EA/PA then you need to gather your intel first.

Is paying $600 the only way to get access to the phone records? I think it may be a good investment in peace of mind because knowing, while incredibly painful, is better than the constant wondering. For me, knowing that I wasn't crazy was a big relief and then I could deal with it accordingly.

Go out for your run and burn off some of those emotions!

I dunno guys...I just never give the benefit of the doubt to anyone who takes their cell to the bathroom.

The fact that Mind felt it odd she should trust her gut.

just a thought, depending in H's service you could access it online via a keylogger if you're into that sort of thing.

Important that you stay calm and not be too paranoid- just ALERT.

Good job w/ the power shifting- having him engage you more in conversation.

Peace of mind is paramount, as is knowing what you're up against- I havent read your sitch in a while, so I will need to catch up.

Hidden cells are a big no-no- esp if he's involved in a business where people keep in touch alot...it really should be in plain view.

Just my opinion...

I know that I put mine in my shoe when I was in an EA...I know that W kept hers under her pillow or on the floor next to her bed...guarded by her dog LOL...

keep your eyes open, but do not project in your bhavior- sounds like you're doing well in that dept.

Jasper - smile

The guy does NOTHING online. In fact he still types millions of dollars a year of billing for his company... on a typewriter! So, a keylogger won't help, since he doesn't use a computer. (He had one in his office up until a year or so ago, and I grabbed his histories, etc... w/no evidence of anything, but he got mad at it since it wanted to do auto updates all the time, and he unplugged it. LoL The kids use it now, and it is in plain view in MY office.)

So, I wish it were that easy... to view online!

Thanks for the support. Keep thinking. I'm ready to shell out the money for the reports, but don't want to if I don't have to!
